Nestled in a wooded hillside looking down a peaceful valley with a views of small lakes, surrounded by wooded mountains facing south with California mountain tops in the distance. It is located near the quaint town of Jacksonville, close to numerous wineries; the Jacksonville Britt festival; Applegategate Lake with fishing, hiking, kayaking, swimming; the Rogue River with all of its water activities; and minutes from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. Mountain bikes are available to enjoy the lovely scenery via untraveled roads, trails and BLM roads. The Jack-Ash trail, connecting Jacksonville to Ashland is a short 10 minute walk from the house and represents almost 36 miles of beautiful, picturesque views and hiking trails through the wooded south Oregon Mountains.
