Summary: Amazing house, after not a great first impression. We arived at night to a very dark property, with the help of cell phone flash lights we worked our way up to the stairs to the front door then searched for inside lights. Light switches are in odd places and even with every light on, the house still felt dark. Outside is even darker, trying to find the hot tub and pool. The ground is very uneven and rocky, so again, needed the cell flash light. Once to the hot tub, it was perfeclty located with a spectactular view! Inside the house, it was a challenge to figure out the projection TV. Inside a drawer in the coffee table, we did find many remotes. With the help of my 3 college kids, we did manage to figure out the 5 remotes required to watch TV. The sectional was very comfortable to snuggle up and watch movies on, but could use a throw blanket or two. The bed in the primary bedroom was extrmly cozy with the best down comfortable ever. During the day, the house has lots of natural light with sun shining in to make up for the dark nights. You could really start to see the beauty of the house. The big windows also show off the 180 beautiful views! The saltwater pool is not heated, I think we were here during the coldest days in September, so pool time was limited which was a disapointment. In warmer weather, it would be great fun. As I frequently travel with my mobility challenged parents, I am grateful I did not have them for this trip. There are several stairs going up to the front door with no hand rail, stairs to the lower level are very steep, and there are two stairs between the kitchen and dining area that we all tripped over, so it would have been a hazard for them. Most of the landscaping around the house is also very uneven - although a beautiful natural landscape. Aslo, if you have small kids, there is no fence around the pool and the railings by the stairs are pretty wide. Overall, we loved the house, it was a great time together while I took my daughter to college.
